Learning for Life. Centered on Christ.
Centered on Christ
Throughout everything we do at Prince of Peace, we place Christ at the center. This means we are intentional about creating a caring environment supported by the truth of the Bible.
Mid-week Chapel
Every week our chapel time is a chance to bring all grade levels together and worship God as a school. We believe spending time worshiping together builds community. Each class gets an opportunity to lead chapel. By participating in the planning and delivering of the message, children learn valuable teamwork and leadership skills. As a part of chapel families, children connect across grade levels and the older students are able to model good behavior.
Positive School Culture
We often hear, “at Prince of Peace, it feels like family” because “family” is the best way to describe the positive culture that we foster. We lead by example, teaching children to respect everyone, to serve others, and to work together. We partner with parents and value their input which results in collaboration that builds a strong sense of community.
In the hallways, students know each other's names across grades. We foster relationships through our programs that intentionally bring students of different ages together to serve one another. As one parent said, “My daughter has friends in every grade thanks to reading buddies, chapel families, and other activities.”
